Event chats are only created for members of an organization that have selected yes or maybe to an event. Additionally the organization admin must select to “go as [org name]” on the event to add the event to everyone’s calendar for RSVP.
At KOMZ, we decided not to have public event chats as they get a little out of hand on social media. If you would like an event chat, a good workaround is to manually create a group chat for any event discussions.
